Background & Philosophy

About Anupam Choudhary

Anupam Choudhary is a software engineer, distributed systems practitioner, and the founder of Uptara, developed under Vamix. His engineering focus centers on high-throughput backend services, reliable telemetry pipelines, and solving the false-alarm fatigue that plagues modern DevOps and SRE teams.

Frustrated by traditional uptime monitors that relied on single-location HTTP ping checks and triggered noisy pages during localized ISP transit blips, Anupam architected Uptara around a 3-region quorum voting engine. He also pioneered native mutual TLS (mTLS) client-certificate verification for zero-trust microservices and sub-second multi-channel alerting.

Prior to founding Uptara, Anupam designed and maintained mission-critical backend APIs, high-scale database clusters, and asynchronous event processing systems across cloud environments. He actively writes and reviews architectural guides on SLA compliance, synthetic transaction testing, and distributed consensus.
