When you register for an account on Uptara, we collect your name, business email address, organization name, and encrypted authentication credentials. When you configure API monitors, we store target endpoint URLs, HTTP methods, headers, and probe schedules.
Monitoring results (including latency in milliseconds, HTTP status codes, and certificate expiration dates) are processed solely to calculate uptime SLA performance, generate status page histograms, and trigger incident alerts.
Client certificates and private keys uploaded for mTLS monitoring are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and synthesized into memory strictly for synthetic check execution. We never share, expose, or log private keys.
Detailed check logs and incident history are retained according to your active plan tier (30 to 90 days). When a monitor or team account is deleted, associated configuration records and encrypted certificates are permanently purged.
